I booked 3 nights at the WH Lyons Fairgrounds to see the area and rest a bit for a three day long drive. The camping area offers full hook-ups but there are no real amenities. Just off I-29, the fairground is very close to restaurants, shopping, Falls Park, and Historic Downtown Sioux Falls. They do offer seasonal sites and the in & out for traveling RVs is great. I paid $40 per night for my stay. No complaints.

I stayed 5 nights at Three Flags RV Park for a central location to see a great many sites in western South Dakota. This is a Passport America park so my pull through site cost was, 3 nights at $25 per night and 2 nights at $45 per night. Great value for the location. The park has 3 Bathrooms w/showers which I did not use. They have new coin operated washers & dryers in the laundry room which I did use. $3 to wash and $3 to dry. They do have Wifi but I opted to use my Starlink since I was there for 5 nights. Otherwise there were no other amenities to my knowledge. The last half mile before reaching the office is a very dusty gravel road so don't wash your truck until after you leave. ;o)

I booked an overnight stay at Oasis Campground to breakup the trip from Omaha to Devils Tower Wyoming. Oacoma is really a twin city with Chamberlain SD which is the home of the Lewis and Clark museum and the Dignity of Earth and Sky statue which I visited last year. I was in rain throughout my drive across South Dakota this year and the Oasis Campground was a muddy mess. The lady who checked me in was very nice but this campground is far too average for a $70 per night pricetag. Just my opinion.
